Can anyone tell if I can log into my daughters PC - I don't know her pass word she is in the ICU sedated and will only be living a few more days. I need to get ahold of all her financial paper work. so I can get the info to start probate.

We are so sorry about your daughter and your situation but unfortunately according to ProBoard rules this is not something we are legally allowed to do. I suggest that when the time comes that you consult your attorney because I am sure this is a situation that they have encountered and will be able to offer assistance.
You and your daughter will be in our prayers.

Sorry to hear about your daughter. I have found that because most people have and use many passwords with their computers they have tendency to record passwords on paper somewhere so a search of her desk and computer work area may be order. Recent versions of Windows may also display a password hint after a failed attempt to login, perhaps that hint would assist you in identifying her password.
A Google search may also offer suggestions.

Apparently my grand daughter and her husband found a paper with passwords on it--It wasn't the first paper we found with passwords so I don't know were it was. Sadly my daughter passed quickly, she was cutting brush less then a month before going into the hospital and lasted less then a day after going into the hospital . It rips one apart losing a child, I hope that this doesn't happen to one of you.
