Since Apple released their newer versions of iPhones, iPads, and other devices, and did away with iTunes in early September (their annual device release event) they have abundantly been releasing almost weekly updates to the newest operating system for all the newer devices..... usually, older devices from 2012 or earlier are mostly forgotten after they reach around 5-6 years old. But this year Apple has been releasing updated operating systems for those older devices so they get a special version 12 while more recent devices have been getting version 13.x of iOS, Mac OS, Watch OS 6, and more..... Now Apple is reminding those who are using iPhone 5 and earlier models pre 2012, and early versions of iPad, that they need to update those devices by this coming Sunday or they will likely lose their ability to connect to the Internet......
