If you don't have that particular update installed, the next time it comes up, just right click on it and when options pop up click on hide update and it should not show up again.

It can be downloaded here Jerry. www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4533002Do make sure you have the versions 3.5 and 4.8 installed before you install it though. Have you tried the Windows Update Troubleshooter ? It is listed in the left pane on the WU page in settings, just needs to be clicked on. I would run that first.

As Everton mentioned, are you 100% certain that versions 3.5 and 4.8 are installed? If you don'then your computer does not meet prerequisites.
I've had that happen to me in the past Jerry and when it did I just let it set. Sooner or later if downloaded. Windows 10 really controls the update downloads so your control is not what it was in previous versions, it really is not as easy to hide an update and some are not allowed to be hidden. Unless it is stopping you from actually using the computer, and it should not, then just ignore it and then eventually it will finally install.

HiJudy yes i did verify that it is 3.5 and 4.8 and I looked back at all my updates and it hasn't already updated and I was wondering with it just setting there all the time how will I ever get any other updates Oh yes, you should get other updates next month when they come. I have never had an update just "sitting there" block any future updates. In fact generally when the next bunch rolls around the one that wouldn't download comes on in with the other new ones.
There are other things you can do to try to get it come in if you don't want to wait; Run Disk Cleanup utility or CCleaner to clean out your Internet Cache and Temp files. Turn off Firewall and Anti-virus software and try again.
Another thing you can try is Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and hit the Advanced Options button. Go down to Pause Updates and turn it on. Then go to Shut Down, Restart. Once the computer is fully restarted then go back into Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and turn OFF that Pause Updates. When you tell Windows to Pause Updates this will clear out any updates that are just "sitting there". Go ahead and try Windows Update again. It might work and of course it might not and if it doesn't don't panic and wait until next month, usually the 2nd Tuesday of the month is when they are released but remember everybody doesn't receive them then...you are talking about the entire world so it takes awhile in order to not overload their servers.

Try restarting your computer. Not shut down and reboot. The ‘restart’ button is the way to go (the opposite to what occurred in previous windows versions )
when you ran the troubleshooter did it report any problems at all ? If it did locate and repair any a restart would have been needed then.
When you say it it fails to download and says there was a problem, then restarts do you mean that the actual download restarts and does it give any error code ? Do you have plenty of disk space ?

Why trouble yourself if this is the only problem. As I said, I have had this happen before and if I recall it was also an update for .NET Framework too. Remember, the problem may not be at your end but with MS download servers. Lots of folks likely got new computers for Christmas and of course those all would need updates. Their servers can only handle so much traffic. Don't worry about it. Just sit back and get ready to celebrate the new year!

According to the second article in this link to Ask Woody it is quite possible that the roll out of KB 4533002 was stopped on the 14th December due to problems www.askwoody.com/category/microsoft-windows-patches-security/ It installed on my machine on 13th December, after which I have had minor problems with printing from a specific printer. It refuses to print until I run the troubleshooter then it behaves perfectly. It is a little used printer so I am not bothered. I think you are wise to just not worry about it
