I am looking for a safe, quick and easy, free program for shortening game camera videos. The quicker and simpler the better. Appreciate and suggestions members may use for such. I use W10. thank you Lester

Hello Phil, I spent some time with VLC , yesterday, which is my normal video player. Instruction told me to go to View, Advanced controls. and the record buttons would open up. As soon as I got to "Advanced Controls" the VLC screen went black so after a few attempts I gave up on that. Thanks for the suggestion though Lester

Thanks Everton, I tried to download your suggestion and nothing happened and then I noticed an older version and managed to get that. Then I found out it is a paid version unless you didn't mind a watermark over your video so I scrapped that idea. Just hope a reader uses a simple Snip program they can share with me Thanks

This worked for me recently.
Select "Trim Videos"

Thanks Phil and Everton, I will take a look at your suggestions which I thank you for . I am a tad tied up right now but I think I will eventually find a quick solution to my needs. I remember using Photo to do this very quickly once before but it eludes me at the moment. Lester
