cleaner-duplicate finder I was nosing around and I clicked on that and every finder was the same 2 of each item just curious what's the reason for that--I looked at that and put my hands in my pocket (No clicking there ) just wondering why everything is a duplicate

cleaner-duplicate finder I was nosing around and I clicked on that and every finder was the same 2 of each item just curious what's the reason for that--I looked at that and put my hands in my pocket (No clicking there ) just wondering why everything is a duplicate Duplicate file finder is just what it says, it looks for files that have more than one copy of the same file. So you're always going to see more than one when that tool finds something.
It is not unusual to have duplicate files, some can be removed and others should be left alone. Duplicates can happen for any number of reasons, errant clicking by the user or some files require a duplicate. Each and every duplicate found must be investigated before removal because some things require that there be duplicates. You must review the file path and, if necessary, the file itself to ensure that it is in fact a duplicate and not needed by a program on your computer. It is also recommend that you do not delete any duplicates that are located in C:\Program Files, as it is likely that these files will be required for a program to run.
Are you actually saying that EVERY file on your computer has an identical duplicate file? If so then you have a possible problem.
