I use firefox as my browser and DUCKDUCKGO as my default search engine under my search bar it's asking me to use DUCKDUCKGO addon in my extensions what can anybody tell me about it has anyone tried it. thanks Jerry

I've used it Jerry for awhile. It shows security rating of a web site. It you click on the little Grade button it will tell you what has been blocked and why the site gets the grade it does. It also blocks trackers.
It is not a must have but can be of interest.
It blocks malware, trackers, PUP's and scams.
