It's a version 1.0 piece of software. I don't never use any software when it is Version 1.0.

What can you tell me about the Simple Firefox Backup download being offered by MajorGeek? Is this something I need? You're wondering if you "need" a separate program to establish a backup of your Mozilla Firefox, and we're wondering why you would ask.... Firefox profiles are automatically created, saved and available to you for free as part of the browser in case you have a rare and freak corruption/hiccup of the browser, or need to reinstall, and to assist with putting Firefox on another computer and have your bookmarks and passwords, etc. available to you..... about backup ......... support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-bookmarks-from-backup-or-move-them or this link about profile location ........ support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-dataAnd this way you don't have to depend on a 3rd party app to get the same information, and you save yourself some potential headaches that often times occur needlessly when using unnecessary programs..... If you do a search for "Firefox profiles' you'll find lots of Mozilla websites telling you all about your profile automatically created the moment you install and start using Firefox browser on your device(s) and how simple it is to retrieve your passwords and bookmarks and history...... Firefox has superbly already thought about your needs for information retrieval for the browser, so not much need for some other program created by someone other than Mozilla... at least in my humble opinion....... the joy of computers, ''to each their own'" when it comes to using various programs and apps......

I have used them for probably 15 or more years They have never offered me anything. You must of been looking at something on their site and saw this.
FF keeps a profile of you so nothing is needed for download to do this.

I saw this on FaceBook and thought I would ask my many knowledgeable friends about this. Thank you all for taking the time to answer me.
