A beautiful song to hopefully touch your heart, make you feel better or at least give all confidence that we CAN and WILL get through this.

Wonderful Judy.
I even listened to James Corden speaking, I usually avoid listening to him but the sincerity in his voice got to me big time.

Thanks so much Judy. The narrative and the song are uplifting.
Perhaps we could use this thread for anyone to add more such snippets - we could all do with a bit of encouragement and perhaps some humour as well.
We here in NZ have reached the end of week one of our lock-down and state of emergency. As expected there are those unwilling to comply for the better of everyone but thankfully they are the small minority. For the most part the situation has revealed the inherent goodness in so many people, as things get worse at an alarming although expected rate.
There is a quote by Anne Frank I think is relevant right now - and she endured far more than most of us have as yet. I guess the difference was that her enemy was a real presence whereas the one we face now is silent and unseen.
"I don’t think of all the misery but of the beauty that still remains." is what she said and we can do that also, and we CAN and must keep strong.
Kia Kaha everyone

Sorry you don't like James Cordon Barney, he is very popular here, has an excellent nightly TV show. This one was a prime time special, put together in a week and done from his home garage with many top singers from the US, U.K, South Korea all performers working from their homes, Andrea Bocelli from Italy. Beautiful music, truly amazing card tricks from magician David Blane, hilarious and also very solemn commentary from Mr. Cordon, and it ended with the link I posted. Just a great program and one that for one hour took our minds off of the horrors around us.

LOL! No, likely you wouldn't see much of him since he now is here most of the time. Really a super talented guy, very clever too. He has this thing on his show called Carpool Karaoke where he drives around town with famous singers and they sing the person's greatest hits. Very good and very funny. All of those are available online on youtube I believe. He had a special last summer with Paul McCartney where they drove around Liverpool and toured things like Paul's childhood home. Places where he and other Beatles played as kids, went to school, etc. All the time they spent in the car they sang Beatle tunes. Then they ended up in the Philarmonic Pub in Liverpool where McCartney surprised customers with a free concert. It started with a small group of people there until word spread and it was standing room only. James Cordon tended bar. It was awesome.
