Please follow all steps in our Preliminary Cleanup and post back with the requested logs. Be sure to allow every program to clean and quarantine anything found.

I don't get the "allowed" either along with the Removed. But Malwarebytes' and AdwCleaner both removed multiple nasty files. Malwarebytes removed 26 including a scam Antiivrus program called TotalAV. It brought in a lot of junk. There were numerous other PUP's.
Is Windows Defender the only AV program you have? It is a good program if it is turned on.

So anyway, I went from 7 to 10 with the free install yesterday. I have free Norton as well from xfinity. I ran it also and it found nothing. Will Norton and defender play ok together? It has been a very long time since I posted last in worldstart. Nice to see you still helping people. And thank you for helping me. Is there anything else we need to do to make sure the trojen is not on my machine? And thanks again for your time!

Windows Defender should have automatically turned itself off with the Norton's on there. The #1 rule is ONE av program installed on a computer. If you have more than one they just fight each other and let the bad guys in. I run Windows Defender as my av program on my Windows 10.
Is Norton Active? Did you thoroughly clean Windows 7 to be sure there was nothing on there before doing the install? This all really doesn't make much sense to me. How you could get so infected in less than 24 hours.

Judy, I will remove Norton. And the only cleaning I did before the upgrade was run Ccleaner and Superantispyware and Norton. I need to find my way around on 10. How do I get to Defender to make sure it is turned on? Seems me and Norton were not doing our jobs with all the nasty stuff found! I am still concerned about about that trojen ! Do you think I am ok?

How do I get to Defender to make sure it is turned on? Seems me and Norton were not doing our jobs with all the nasty stuff found! I am still concerned about about that trojen ! Do you think I am ok? Quite honestly I cannot say that you are ok. I don't know. The cleaning you did before the upgrade was not enough for my taste anyway. The programs you used would never have found or removed any of what was found and removed by the two Malwarebytes' programs. So all of those things could very well have been on the computer when you did the upgrade.
One of the most important programs is Malwarebytes', I am really surprised, being a former WS member, that you did not have it installed and were not using it regularly and did not use it before the upgrade to be sure the computer was clean. If you had been then none of that malware would likely have been on there. I honestly cannot say that you did the upgrade on a clean machine.
You must totally uninstall Norton by following the instructions given HERE:
AFTER Norton is completely gone then go to Start, Settings, Update and Security, Windows Security. That is where you will make sure that Windows Defender is turned on.

You are right, I just got lazy and did not keep up with things. I installed a SSD and a clean install of w7 and never followed up on downloading tools. My bad ! Do you have any other removal tools I can try? I don't mind paying for any. Thanks again Judy.

Do you have any other removal tools I can try? I don't mind paying for any. Thanks again Judy. Do the uninstall of Norton following exactly the instructions on the link I gave you. Once that is done then go to the Windows Security as instructed above; Start, Settings, Update and Security, Windows Security. Once there of course you should be able to see if Windows Defender is turned on. Then click the Grey button that says Open Windows Security. When that opens click on Virus and Threat Protection. When that opens click on Scan Options. When that opens choose Full Scan. Let it do the scan. If something is found, remove it.
Then open Malwarebytes' again and Run another scan and see if anything is found. If something is found of course quarantine/remove it.
Report back.
